Jackson’s Bistro-Bar-Sushi

Jackson’s, Tampa’s lush lounge, offers the most lavish ambience in the bay area. The Bistro opened on Harbour Island in 1997. Over the years, it has emerged as one of the most popular nightclubs in Tampa. Two factors have greatly contributed to its popularity – first, it is one of the only waterfronts venues in Tampa and second, it is locally owned and independently managed.

With two large indoor rooms and a spacious waterfront terrace, Jackson’s offers the perfect escape from the ordinary by blending comfort with class. Outdoor cabanas provide stunning views of the city and a cool breeze off the water. The nightlife is impressive and brings in superior sound and international talent.

Jackson’s Bistro offers happy hour pricings Monday thru Friday from 4pm to 8pm. The Friday night happy hour includes live DJ playing Top 40 music while guests enjoy the magnificent sunset over Tampa Bay.

Jack Campbell and Greg Stinson were the brains behind the creation of Jackson’s concept and development. Combining their over 60 years of experience in the food, beverage and entertainment industry they have brought together three of the hottest concepts under one roof: bistro dining, sushi, and live entertainment.

Harbour Island proved to be the ideal location to bring their concept to life because of its waterfront location, the growth of downtown Tampa and market appeal. The overall design of the restaurant and nightclub is an open air, exotic, upscale but casual feel, with a splash of the Caribbean Islands.

Jackson’s Fridays and special events

The nightlife comes alive during the weekends when the nightclub offers two rooms featuring live music from the 80′s, 90′s in its two rooms.

Pied Piper Productions and Jackson’s Bistro Bar & Sushi also host a series of signature parties throughout the year. The most popular events include the Pied Piper’s Annual Halloween Party which features a haunted house, and the extravagant New Year’s Eve Celebration. The popularity of Pied Piper’s productions can be gauged from the fact that sometimes these parties house close to 3000 guests. VIP tables and cabanas at these events must be reserved early to assure availability.

The dining room is open for lunch and dinner every day of the week. Also on offer is a delicious Sunday brunch, which has something for everyone. Guests can dine inside in the warm atmosphere or enjoy the breath taking sunset on the outdoor patio.

The lunch and dinner menus have a variety of entrees suited to all palettes and price ranges. The chef prepares daily specials that feature seasonal ingredients.

The Bistro also has The Wine Room which is available for groups of 16-20 guests for an intimate lunch or dinner. The Wine Room creates a great atmosphere for when you need a separate area but not a private room.

The Backjack’s Lounge is perfect for cocktail events of up to 75 guests and dinner events of up to 60 guests. This area is setup with cocktail tables which can be removed and reset for a formal dinner.

Jackson’s also has an outdoor covered bar, The Island Bar, which can accommodate groups of 100-150 guests and can be reserved along with Backjack’s Lounge for a larger area.
